    To me the main point you also touch upon here is that social networks are a great source of feedback on a product or service. It saves piles of funds allocated to ad agencies that probe out the public opinion. Social networks provide that kind of information for free. Still, as with ad agencies, there is risk that we can hear only active users, silent customers staying in the shadow.
